After 8yrs of YoY growth. AWA Reps looks to expand further within distribution using its knowledge of distribution and the CEDIA/CI channel. Adding AV Distributed brands

AWA is awarded the Speco contract and expands into MI

AV Expansion
After a successful year within the CEDIA brands. AWA expands based on Manufacturer requests to grow more in CEDIA/CI with dealer direct brands

Our Journey

Since the beginning, Austin Wendt has guided AWA Reps with a vision of building a rep firm grounded in distribution, expertise, and relationships. What started in Illinois and Wisconsin with security manufacturers has grown into a multi-territory, multi-division organization representing some of the strongest names in the industry.

Key milestones in our growth include:

  • Expansion into MN & the Dakotas with Arlington Industries

  • AV Distribution launch, expanding into the CEDIA/CI channel with distributed AV brands

  • Expansion into MI with Speco, followed by additional growth in IN, KY, OH, WPA, and WVA

  • AV Division growth, adding dealer-direct brands by manufacturer request

  • Leadership expansion, adding Managing Partner Andy Spolar for AV, and later Jon Zabel as Director of Operations & Vendor Relationships

  • Showroom openings in Chicago and Indianapolis to train, demo, and support our distribution and dealer partners
